Organic Glass

In our new collection, organic glass becomes a flawless eye-catcher – in a gloss surface or matt surface finish, with eight different colour tones and with glass and stainless-steel effect edges. This innovative material does not just have a high-quality appearance, it also features several everyday-life advantages for the end customer.

Fronts

Laminate fronts
Three-layer high pressure quality chipboard or MDF forms the substrate for our laminate fronts.

Lacquered fronts
These fronts receive their high gloss finish from multi-layer surface lacquering with top quality DD lacquer.

Wooden fronts
Only specially chosen wood is used for our solid wood or veneered fronts, which is provided internally and externally with a special surface sealing. They are, therefore particularly easy to clean and hard wearing.

Characteristics of wood fronts
Wood always differs slightly in grain and colour because of its natural origins. This cannot be compensated for by the application of stains. Even differences in the direction of lighting can produce the illusion of changes in colour in the same wood. These unmistakable characteristics emphasise the natural beauty of the material and lend its individual character to each wood kitchen. As wood is a living material, it must not be subjected to extremely damp or dry air, as this will cause the wood to shrink or swell in spite of surface sealing. The timbers processed in our wooden fronts have, therefore, been chosen for the air humidity of 50 to 70 per cent typically encountered in homes.

Care Instructions

Care
Nothing is easier than keeping a kitchen looking as new as the day it was bought. The surfaces of a kitchen are particularly easy to clean and almost totally resistant to common household acids, greases, caustic substances and alcohol. For any occasionally necessary cleaning, observe the following instructions:

Harmful cleaning agents
There are cleaning agents on the market that are unsuitable for your melamine or wooden kitchen. These include above all abrasive cleaners and strong liquid cleaners. The use of furniture polishes and waxes is also not recommended as they may contain unsuitable solvents.

Maintenance of moving parts
Although all parts are maintenance-free, a little care can extend their operating lives even further. Apply a drop of resin-free oil to hinges and other fittings with steel joints every 2 years. All moving plastic parts are completely maintenance-free and must not be greased or oiled. Please ensure that drawer and pull-out runners are clean. In particular, remove crumbs and dirt immediately with a brush.

Laminate surfaces
Simply wipe the surfaces and worktops with a damp cloth. For removing stubborn stains, use only a mild cleaning agent or soapy water.

Wooden surfaces

Clean genuine wood veneered surfaces or solid wood only with a soft damp cloth. It is strongly recommended to subsequently rub the surfaces dry. To remove stubborn stains or fat splashes, food and shoe polish, we recommend the use of spirit. As wood is a natural material, the relative humidity of the room should be monitored. This can be measured with a hygrometer. Excessive humidity in the room can be reduced by airing the room. Excessively dry air can be humidified by the use of radiator-mounted evaporators.
